My positive first impression of writemypapers.org quickly turned sour, the more I scrolled down the home page and the deeper I dived into the fine print.
The company looks legit on the surface, with appropriate cookie consent notices and even Coronavirus updates.
However, some of their stats are shifty. For instance, it says on the home page they have over 1,700+ writers, but the numbers on Our Writers page are much higher, even if you believe that Law experts agree to write papers on Art or Management.
Besides, what does it mean if the company boasts 99.98% processed calls? Do they hang up on the unlucky 0.02%?
As you can see, even before I started this Writemypapers review, I had plenty of questions. The more I dealt with this company, the more irregularities I found.
Spoiler alert: not all of them were resolved. Read on to learn more.
Quality of Service
Is Writemypapers legit? As always, that’s what I tried to find out and share with you. I started by researching writemypapers.org reviews online.
While I could not find any Writemypapers Reddit reviews worth mentioning, SiteJabber and Trustpilot were more helpful. Most posts were positive, but the negative ones caught my attention.
Customers complained about a late delivery, unhelpful support, poor writing quality, and unfulfilled promises, including the Money-back Guarantee. I had to check those claims for myself.
I was lucky to receive my essay on time, but it was not what I was expecting.
Instead of a three-page-long paper on Ulysses, I got an opinionated blog post full of random Wikipedia facts and unrelated quotes from the book itself.
When I tried to get a revision, the writer claimed they had met my initial requirements, though that was blatantly untrue. As a result, I could not get a refund, but more on that later.
Pricing and Deadlines
The one thing writemypapers.org reviews were correct about is reasonable pricing. The company falls in the middle of the pricing spectrum, with the cheapest Undergraduate writing starting at $11.99 on a 14-day deadline.
Sure, the prices soar higher the shorter deadline you choose, and you’d have to pay $43 per page of high-school-level writing on a 3-hour time limit. My essay cost just under $60 with a first-time customer discount of 7%.
Admission help is predictably the most costly, starting at $47 per page and reaching a whopping $227 per page on a 3-hour deadline. Is Writemypapers reliable?
Based on their unrealistic offer to write a quality admission essay in under three hours, I would say not.
Types of Papers
According to the order form, essay, research paper, term paper, case study, and report are the five most ordered papers. However, the company offers a slew of other options, if you need something more creative.
You can get anything from an annotated bibliography to thesis help. There are some weird options in the drop-down menu, such as typing or question & answer.
The company can also help with a job search and create a resume or a CV for you.
Math, Geography, and Programming assignments are all on the list of paper types, while there is a separate field for choosing your subject.
I wonder what the writers would produce if you were to order a programming assignment for your Geography or Literature class.
The academic level options do not make much sense either. You have to choose between Undergraduate, Bachelor, and Professional.
I had trouble understanding the distinction between the former two and no idea what level a post-graduate should choose.
My writemypapers.org review would not be complete without an in-depth look at the extras the company suggests.
Official plagiarism reports (starting at $9.99) and abstract pages ($14.99) are both helpful, though I’m not sure you should trust the former unless they use Turnitin or a similar respectable service.
You can also choose an Advance or a TOP writer to work on your paper. VIP support ($14.99) and text message notifications ($3.99) are available as well.
The thing that annoyed me most about all these was not the inflated pricing, but the lack of clear rates in the order form. I had to check the boxes to see how the order total would change to get an idea of the costs.
The only way to understand the prices is to check out the Prices page of the website, scroll down, and read the fine print.
Still, I have no idea how the preferred writer option affects the order total because the company chose to keep it a secret.
I have to agree with many writemypapers.org reviews about the support agents’ efforts. There are plenty of options to reach the company, including phone, email, and chat.
I had no problem getting answers before placing the order. However, when I needed help with revisions and refunds, the customer support team was not as helpful. It turns out, there is no way to squeeze your money out of the company unless you are ready to waste weeks of your time.
Here is some fine print you should read before placing the order:
Writemypapers.org: scam or not? It depends on how lucky you are. If you are not ready to tempt fate, steer clear.
